Here are a few cool things that happened this week:
1. Mackenzie received a "Student of Charactor" Award at school. This was a big deal, because the teachers nominate only 3 students every 10 weeks. My parents joined us at the awards ceremony.
2. Friday night Lincoln Log construction site. This was Kenzie's original creation.
3. My Training Log:
My training week runs Monday thru Sunday, so this week is not quite finished! But I've managed to stay focused all week.
4. New Earrings! I received a gift in the mail on Thursday. It was a package with new earrings from my cousin, and I LOVE them. They are blue beads and so cool. It was a very thoughtful gift.
5. I've signed up for a 4 mile race. This is the longest organized run I have ever done. It's scheduled for 3/7/09. I'm pretty excited about this, because it's proof that I'm getting ready for the Oly Tri in August.
6. An empty closet! I went through my stuff and got rid of everything that was too big or really old. This is what was was left!
Sorry, no Jack Pictures this week. I'll "spotlight" his antics later in the week.
Peace

A lot more pink in there than I would expect...
1 pink sweatshirt. 1 pink work shirt. That is A LOT of pink for me!
I'd hate to see my closet if I did that! Do you have to go shopping now?
I know. That IS a lot of pink for you!
:D
Sheila-I definately have to go shopping now. I've actually tried twice this week. So far, I've walked out with a pair of shoes for work (which brings me up to 3), new running shoes and a new bathing suit. I'm starting to panic about what I'll wear to work this week!
I think you should just give NP Diva some cash and tell her to come back with clothes for you. I'm sure she would have your closet filled in no time.
You had a super busy week, didn't you?! That 4 mile run is coming up real soon! I got a little stressed out for you when I saw the date...but since you're not me, I'm sure you've got it way under control!
Flea-The 4 miler is very soon. I'm at 3.1 now, so it won't be a problem in a couple of weeks-I could push through it now if I had too. Don't stress-it'll be fun!
Speaking of which- How is Curves going? I know a few women who love it.
